Dengue

Dearest,
A post has been a long time in coming....I wasn't able to finish the mural. I left Jordan and my other teammates. I didn't even get to say goodbye to Aceh.

After seeing 4 hospitals, 6 doctors, and the inside of my own private air-ambulance jet, I am now in Singapore, recovering...from a mosquito bite! Well, the mosquito left me with dengue fever, but now the fever is gone and I'm working to recover my platelets. The doctor is discharging me tomorrow, so I praise the Lord for healing! I am so excited that Jesus has risen to life and that I live now because He conquered death. I hope your Easter was filled with joy in the greatest victory that the human heart could ever know.

I will post pictures from Cambodia and Indonesia soon. I look forward to sharing more of God's goodness with you. When we are weak, He is strong. He alone is worthy to be praised.

I hope to have your enthusiasm and faith and joy in the midst of trials.
It must have been tough leaving the area where you have left a lot of your heart. I am so glad that you are better, and will be praying for your physical, as well as spiritual health.
Much love,

Dear Asha;
I am overjoyed with your spirit of perseverance....After hospitalizations for two separate illnesses you can feel rather weak and defeated. Rest in the Lord, regain your footing and press on. We are lifting you up with prayers that you will overcome these 'temporary' interruptions. God bless you in your work as you continue to seek to serve him with all of your heart, soul, mind and 'strength'. In your weakness...he will be your strength. Blessings, Mom
